Artist's Comments

I have recently become re-obsessed with Star Trek. I used to watch Next Generation and Deep Space Nine with my mom when I was a kid, but I just recently started watching TOS after going to see the new movie, which is awesome.

So, this is the result of my recent obsessive cavortings: Spock!

I am very very happy with this. Everything I wanted to turn out perfectly turned out perfectly.

Seven or eight hours total, with some kind of pencil on some kind of paper.

Oh my god, I LOVE IT!
I have become a Trekkie (again) as well, you see! And especially a Spock fan, oh yeah!
I like the way you some sort of re-created him. It's definitely Spock, but it's still your own!
I love the techno details, I love the deep, deep space! It's amazing it can all be done with a simple one-colour pencil, isn't it? :D

Everything you know is wrong.

I steal rockstars from the 70's, 80's and 90's in my spare time! And not just rockstars...

:) Thank you for the millionth time for such a lovely comment, I'm so glad you like it. I am, indeed, constantly amazed at how much can be done with a single pencil, it's partly the reason I draw with one.

Hooray! Re-vamp Trekkies unite!

That lack of critique is fine with me. I can't fix anything at this point, so it's all good. ;P

You claim you're not officially obsessed though, even though you have a folder of Trek stuff on your memory stick...

Instead of watching one series together we can compare our two cheesy sixties sci-fi shows and debate on which is worse!
