APH: SuFin Semi-realism

I really need to stop with the boring busts in squares and circles and start drawing actual works. Oh well. These things are good practice.

I did this as a comparison exercise, really. I wanted to see how much I'd improved from last December (has it really been that long? WTF), when I started drawing the Nordics in earnest.
Compare to Berwald and Tino in this picture:
... completely different styles. Not sure which I like more. They're both fun.

Usually I ignore Finland's cheekbones, but I like how masculine he turned out in this. I think he might actually look like an actual Finn. Maybe.

Urgh. Everything I draw is dull these days. Sleep now.
